Elon Choi

Resident Physiotherapist

As a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist specializing in sports injury and rehabilitation, I bring a wealth of experience and passion for helping individuals regain their mobility and enhance their athletic performance. Graduating from the esteemed Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2019, I embarked on a journey of continuous learning and growth.

For three years, I honed my skills in a hospital setting, where I encountered diverse cases and refined my therapeutic techniques, including those tailored specifically for sports-related injuries. Seeking to specialize further, I transitioned to an outpatient clinic for a year, focusing intensively on sports injury rehabilitation and personalized care for athletes of all levels.

Relocating to Toronto was both a personal and professional milestone for me. After successfully passing the credentialing exam, I embarked on my journey as a practicing Resident Physiotherapist in Ontario, bringing my expertise in sports injury management to the community. Joining “Back on Track” in April 2024 has been a rewarding chapter in my career.

Having a deep personal connection to sports, including skiing, hockey, volleyball, and badminton, I understand firsthand the physical demands and potential risks associated with these activities. This unique perspective allows me to tailor my approach to rehabilitation, providing targeted care that addresses the specific needs of athletes.

While I have a particular interest in sports injury rehabilitation, my practice encompasses a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. I am dedicated to developing individualized treatment plans that not only facilitate recovery but also empower my patients to achieve their health and wellness goals.

It’s my pleasure to collaborate with a team of dedicated physiotherapists, united in our mission to serve the Scarborough community. Together, we strive to provide comprehensive care and support to athletes and individuals seeking to overcome physical challenges and optimize their performance. With empathy, expertise, and a genuine desire to make a difference, I look forward to contributing to the well-being of our community at “Back on Track.”
